The colorful shop windows of Paris

If you follow me on the blog and on my social network, you will already know that Paris is one of my favorite cities. Today I want to give you a different perspective of the city. Paris is in fact known for its white haussmannian buildings that characterize its style but in reality the Ville Lumière also has a very colorful side. I am talking about the windows of shops and restaurant, have you ever noticed? The shop windows are in fact characterized by a frame of wood/metal that is often painted with bright colors. It is a detail of the city that I love a lot. I’ll give you a taste of it with this pictures I took during my last trip.

About Paris and its windows, I suggest you have a look at the work of Sebastian Erras. Sebastian is a photographer who has dedicated a work (Paris Re-Tale) to Paris and its discovery from a different perspective, that of the windows of its historic and oldest shops. An original portrait of the city with a more intimate side hidden behind its windows.
